Description

This program recognizes and rewards outstanding community contributors across governance, Discord, content creation, and broader ecosystem growth. This expanded program introduces a tiered USDC reward structure which will range from $500 to $2,000 USDC based on the contributor’s impact.

Qualifying contributions include building tools, onboarding others, producing educational content, and promoting dYdX in online or offline communities. All recipients will also receive:

Official dYdX merch (choice of item)
Access to a private group chat with the core team

In their Treasury SubDAO proposal, Karpatkey contemplated operationalising the deployment of a portion of the USDC accumulated through the staking program towards buybacks of the DYDX token in the open market, followed by staking of such tokens. The idea is that such an initiative could return value generated by the dYdX network to holders of the DYDX token by reducing the token’s circulating supply.
