Description

This grant will support the existing Tradingview connector tool, a previous grants funded project that was well received and used by the community, to be compatible with dYdX v4. The tool allows users to connect their dYdX accounts and execute on Tradingview strategies. This grant will allow for advanced and automated trading strategy implementation and support every order type offered on v4.

Purpose

Tradingview is among the most popular trading tools to research market trends, build and visualize market trends, and develop strategies. Traders use the advanced charting technologies as signals for their trade execution. By integrating with dYdX v4, traders will be capable of executing their strategies on dYdX.

Note: This same grant was issued and successfully completed for v3.

Hummingbot is the leading open source framework for market making and arbitrage bots. dYdX has shown to be one of the most active DEX’s for Hummingbot users, bringing significant volume to the dYdX exchange. This grant will enable Hummingbot to establish a new connector for dYdX v4 compatibility, integrating directly into the WebSocket API. The grant also covers maintenance for the connector as well as content creation, providing users with the necessary information to run strategies on dYdX. Hummingbot will promote and maintain the connector for 12 months after release.
