Overview
The dYdX Grants Program invites proposals from contributors interested in taking on a critical role in maintaining and improving the dYdX trading ecosystem, by ensuring that markets remain relevant, liquid, and optimized by actively managing listings, delistings, and governance-adjustable parameters.
The selected grantee will be expected to:
- List popular launchable new markets on dYdX.
- Own the proposal lifecycle, including forum posts and posting on-chain proposals, for delisting certain markets and changing any governance-adjustable parameters.
Objectives
- Maintain dYdX momentum by regularly listing launchable popular markets.
- Including but not limited to delisting and upgrading existing markets, adjusting governance-adjustable market parameters.
Scope of Work
- Review and list launchable market opportunities on a weekly cadence that meet volume, liquidity, and demand thresholds.
- Monitor underperforming markets and initiate delisting governance proposals in line with community-defined criteria.
- Submit parameter-change proposals where necessary to ensure markets operate optimally (e.g., liquidity tier changes, margin upgrades).
- Where appropriate, coordinate with the community and stakeholders to gather consensus and feedback ahead of proposal submissions.
