Hummingbot is the leading open source framework for market making and arbitrage bots. dYdX has shown to be one of the most active DEX’s for Hummingbot users, bringing significant volume to the dYdX exchange. This grant will enable Hummingbot to establish a new connector for dYdX v4 compatibility, integrating directly into the WebSocket API. The grant also covers maintenance for the connector as well as content creation, providing users with the necessary information to run strategies on dYdX. Hummingbot will promote and maintain the connector for 12 months after release.

Hummingbot is a popular tool used across multiple venues for systematic, market making trades in an easy to use manner. The grant will fund the building of bots that can be used by the community to easily trade on dYdX through market making strategies.
