This grant will support development and management of the dYdX VIP Affiliate program, an addition to the in-protocol affiliate system for attracting larger KOLs and institutional partners. The program will allow qualified VIP affiliates to earn up to 50% of referred user taker fees, with a maximum of $10,000 per referral per 30-day rolling period. The increased referral fee is expected to attract industry-leading affiliates, including institutional partners and influential KOLs. This should result in a substantial increase in daily active users, trading volume, and dYdX marketing growth.

This grant will support the launch of a dYdX affiliate program following protocol development to add support for fee redistribution to affiliates, which is set to launch with dYdX Unlimited. The scope of work involves building out the necessary frontend integration and data engineering to support affiliates.
